Located in Barrie, Ontario (Just north of Toronto), Quiptec supplies quality, cost-effective equipment to the foundry and manufacturing industries. In 2005, Quiptec celebrated it's 25'th anniversary.

Quiptec specializes in material handling equipment. One of the principle product lines is the Quiptec Mold Manipulator. Quiptec has produced over 500 manipulators with capacities ranging from 700 lbs to 15,000 lbs and has also built special purpose manipulators for individual customer requirements. Quiptec Manipulators are currently in use in foundries in North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Quiptec also undertakes custom design work. From heavy duty crane installations, to battery-powered transfer cars, to custom-built mechanical components, Quiptec can provide cost-effective and timely solutions for a wide range of applications.

Quiptec stands behind its products, and is always happy to respond to customer questions or concerns. A full range of spare parts for standard machines are kept on-hand for immediate supply, to minimize downtime and lost production.
